2023 Poll Challenges: INEC begins post-election review
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in Kwara has started the post-political race audit of the 2023 general political decision to handle recorded difficulties.
The Occupant Discretionary Chief, Malam Attahiru Madami, expressed this during the commission's gathering with partners on Tuesday in Ilorin.
Madami said that the motivation behind the audit was to work on the future lead of decisions and to merge Nigeria's majority rules system.
As indicated by him, the inner audit will include the commission's normal and impromptu staff, including RECs, the 774 Discretionary Officials, Heads of Divisions, Authoritative Secretaries, some Managing Officials and Grouping/Bringing Officers back.
"The survey will zero in on all parts of the appointive exercises of races.
"Likewise the commission invites significant suggestions from partners towards reinforcing institutional limit with respect to the release of its liabilities and the improvement of cycles and methodology," the REC said.
He expressed that after the survey, the illustrations gained from the 2023 races and arrangements would be given to the difficulties confronting the course of political decision.
Mr Yakub Ishaqu, the Associate Chief, Financial plan Checking and Execution of INEC, Abuja, made sense of that the audit would fundamentally xray the triumphs and disappointments of INEC in the 2023 general political race.
